NetSkillz is committed to complying with data protection law and ensuring your privacy is protected in keeping with GDPR legislation. This policy sets out our approach to data protection law and the principles that we will apply when processing personal data.

What We Collect

• Details of the child participant’s name, date of birth, gender, full address and school
• Information regarding any medical conditions, allergies and accidents of the participant 
• Contact details for parents or guardians of the child and any other person who may be given permission to collect a child from a camp or session 
• Billing information from the payee including credit card and/or debit card details

Why we need this information

We will only collect personal information from you in order to be able to deliver the services that you have requested. We require the contact details of all participants for health and safety reasons. We ask for information of gender and schools in connection with the monitoring and future marketing of our services. In addition, with your consent we ask for details of any medical conditions and allergies so that we can ensure the welfare and safety of your child. We need further contact details of parents and/or guardians in case we need to contact you in an emergency. We require payment information in connection with taking payment for our services. Following a financial transaction no financial information is retained by NetSkillz. We may occasionally use your contact information to send you promotional emails relating to sessions, camps and offers that we have running from time to time.

Who Do We Share Your Data With

Unless required to do so by law, we will not share or distribute any of the information that is provided to us. Your data can be viewed only by NetSkillz staff. We will hold your data on a a secure centralised system. Our website may contain links to and from the websites of our partners networks, advertisers, suppliers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these website have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to the websites.

Photographs and Videos

NetSkillz stores photographic images from sessions and camps. Participants will not be identified by name in the images. NetSkillz operate an opt-in policy. If you do not want us to take any photographs of your child, please inform us via email prior to any sessions commencing. We will delete images when we are no longer using them for marketing purposes.  

Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights :
• Right to correction. You have the right to have inaccurate personal data about you or your child rectified.
• The right to have information deleted. You have the right to request that we delete your personal data where: (a) the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or processed, (b) you withdraw your consent to processing for which we previously obtained your consent, (c) you object to the processing and as a result we agree to cease that processing, (d) the personal data has been unlawfully processed and (e) we are required to erase the personal data in order to comply with the law.
• Right to restriction. You have the right to obtain from us the restriction of processing where: (a) you contest the accuracy of the personal data we hold about you, (b) the personal data has been unlawfully processed, (c) we no longer need the personal data but they are required in limited circumstances, and (d) you object to the processing and, as a result, we agree to cease that processing. 
• Right to request transfer. In certain circumstances, you have the right to receive personal data from us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and the right to transmit it to a third party organisation.
• Right to object. You have the right to raise an objection to any of our information processing. Please tell us if you object to any type of processing that we do and we will work with you to address any concerns you may have.
• Right to object to marketing. If you do not want us to process your personal data for direct marketing, please tell us and we will ensure that we no longer do this.
• Right to complain to the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office). Whilst we would always prefer it if you approached us first about any complaints or queries you may have, you always have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO. How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Data

Data is only kept for as long as is necessary an in conjunction with the services that we are providing. We will keep hold of your information for as long as the child continues to participate in any of our sessions and for the period of time afterwards as is required by the relevant legislation.
